Now isnt there going to be some pressure on for a certain golfer to break the ton.

Iain
9th October 2004, 11:12 AM
No probs up there Blakey...I've got the place almost sorted. 86 and 87 last two starts with brain explosions at the end.
Just slap the 5 wood off the tee all day and keep it in play.

I'm confirmed if I can get someone to collect me and drop me off to a choo choo station.
I can pick you up from Beenleigh. 8)

9th October 2004, 12:20 PM
Welcome aboard Iain! Thanks for offering to pick Richard up. Saves me the trip from my place.

Was out there just before and the greens I saw were cored and sanded, but hopefully should have improved a lot in a week's time. I'm really not too bothered by the cored greens. Just nice to get out an play. Finger's crossed, the back holds out. :)

Iain
9th October 2004, 01:05 PM
Thanks very much Iain....we'll sort out timing during the week.
No Problems Rich. If you don't have a timetable just let me know what time you want to be at Beenleigh by, and I can figure it out, Inside info....

Hopefully all the insulation batts I've been buying lately has been money well spent. Ipswich seems to get the absolute worst weather in Queensland. Stinking hot, humid summers and frosts in winter. Who'd live there???

she just gropes me or something when it looks good so i don't ask her at all.

if she's calls it, then there's an issue....i value her judgement that way....

ie.scott you look like a gimp, take off that bib before we go to sizzler

luckily that's rare and she doesn't make me change :)

I am definitely IN and will be on that train arriving at Beenleigh at 9:16 Iain.

Haven't hit a ball since the 99 at oxley so the fear factor of that first holes is right up there.

Looking forward to the comradery, and the walk on the grass.

Excellent! I gotta admit, after our chat last week, I was sure you would bail. I'm sure Nudgee was hoping you would too!

Can't wait! I'm so keen to play, I can almost guarrantee I'll shoot a million now.

I just called Brookwater to see why my hcap hasn't been updated. Apparently the upload to golflink at the end of each week, so I guess that means Friday.

FWIW, the winning score from Saturday was 46 points! There were several scores in the 40's as well. Looks like our little group just sucked.

 Or, all the members are now playing off hcaps appropriate for the difficulty out there... Here's hoping!
