How many holes...14 or 18 ?

All depends who plays. As I said, I've got a deadline. ;)

Poidda, I would be keen for a hit somewhere but there is not a lot of options around for comp early Sun morning??

Pacific has early spots available... but the greens were cored on the 26th Nov so are still a bit scratchy. I can book it if you like. First tee time is 6:06 with times available until 7:42.

Cheers DC, butI might avoid cored greens.

Eags, I don't actually have to be done as early as I first thought if you're keen.

Ok mate, so what time do you want to hit off and where?
Buy the way, are you still heading to Coolum on Sat for the PGA?

I think only Nudgee would be an option for that time on a Sunday, unless it was social.

Ok, just had a look at open comps and Nudgee would be the only option at that time but they only have a 4 ball on that day??

Eags, Nuttedit has been on the case and there's a 7.48 spot on the old course at keperra. He's just double checking if the greens have been reno'd and what the comp is.

EDIT: Just got an email from a Keperra member and the greens are "mint"

poidda, if you are playing comp, would you be able to check if it is regular and the cost so we can update our Open Days thread please.

Keperra is a great track ... as long as you get to play the main 18

AndyP
6th December 2007, 09:25 AM
I'd say they would be charging at least $35, if not $40.

edit: http://www.keperragolf.com.au/fees.htm - $40

What's the main 18? We're on the Old Course apparantly.

Ans yeah as AndyP said, I just confirmed it's 40 clams.

Old course is the main 18. I believe Damo refers to the other 9 as Disneyland.

took a last minute sickie yesterday and played the Wed Comp at Keperra - $34 is the visitors rate now - just been increased........the course is as good as I have ever seen it - greens and surrounds / fairways were 1st class - I was so impressed I picked up the nom forms and price list !!...........if you are on the Old course it is the main 18 - I played the North yesterday - 10-27 and even the 3rd nine was in good nick............

Seems you are alone, I recall an Ozgolfer who was a member there and invited us a couple of times for an Ozgolf day plus free food and there was virtually Zero interest.

That's crap, Blakey. People were interested, but it never really got off the ground. http://www.ozgolf.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4668

Maybe blakey can organise a big day there early 2008. Given plenty of warning, no reason we can't get a good turnout.

You have never seen a railway track and a road intersect?

I can assure you I am very wary around one of those.

There is rumours going around Brisbane of a driverless train, that coincidentally has a QR employee reading golf magazines in the 1st carriage.

Yeah it happened'ish. The course is in great condition. Well worth the 40 clams. I hit my irons as well as I possibly could again. Hit 14 greens but had four 3 jabs for a soild round.
