Just picked up this;

and thought I'd done pretty well until I heard the bloody dollar had dropped back below 70 cents. :smt013
Oh well the life of a Ho is full of risk.

Gazgolf,

You are the 3 wood king - believe it or not I have disposed of the Sonartec 3 wood as the 14* Rescue Tour with Penley shaft is a friggin monster

I now have a sonartec 13 degree head and a spare Fuji Fit on 6 going in it but I doubt very much it will replace the 14 degree Rescue.

I honestly think you had a wrong shaft in your Rescue Tour - these clubs are so easy to hit and the 14 degree just wants to go for miles!!

what Penley shaft you got Nudgee :?: :?

can you compare it with any other shaft :-k

It is a Penley LS shaft - black with yellow stripes-

75 Grams
3.3 Torque
Low kick point
Stiff Shaft

The driver shaft is a Penley LS
73 Grams
3.9 Torque
Mid Kick Point
STiff Shaft

I think these shafts are jus as smooth as the NVs - I haven't had a round with the Rescue or the Driver yet - due to last weekends rain. Hopefully they will work well on friday at Twoomba.

They are same $$$$ as NVs - I installed a iron Penley Shaft in the Rescue

Maybe i'll have to pick up a 14 degree then. 8)
