EDIT: I will try to book to fly up Saturday morning (play the comp at Rocky on Satdy), and back Tuesday Morning. We can always get cheap Virgin flights at a later date to come back Sunday.

Heard rumours of them being taken to the ACCC for it though. There is some fair trading law that states the price charged has to be economically viable to the company.

I played Capricon few years back, it was in very good condition and quite challenging. The resort there is not bad, food at the Restaurant wasn't too great.

The Rocky open does match. First weekend of May on the Saturday/Sunday. I already have flights booked for that. Got on a $39 deal with Virgin a while back.

I was thinking one of you would have got a ticket. Guess the 5000 tickets were not that available as expected. You guys may have given up on the idea but others would not have, and booked anyway. That is what Jetstar wanted to happen.

When the CEO is on Tv bragging that the seats will be sold out in less than 20 minutes. He also said that people will still buy tickets. It gives a good indication that he too thinks very little of the paying public.
