It turns out my Sunday is free, so I thought I'd get one last round in before the Champs.

The Gailes fixture says it's a Single Stab off the Whites, and hopefully the comp cost is still $10.
The fairways should be pretty good, and I'd hope the greens are on the improve (I'll check they aren't cored before booking). I'd be looking to book for around 12:30, I guess.

I'm not working that day, and was considering putting my name down in the nudgee comp.

Only downside is that the greens will more than likely be crap after last weeks reno's :(

They cored the South Course greens about a month ago.
The North Course was done last week .... why they have both courses done at the same time i'll never know :roll:

I'll sneak out there after work tomorrow arvo and take a look at the 18th green on the North course .... if it doesn't look too bad i'll start up a thread for a game there this Sunday, there's still a lot of tee-times available.

There are 3 spots available at 6:07 and 6:21, then groups of 4 become available at 6:49 (off the 10th tee)

The earlier the better as far as i'm concerned.

Considering there didn't seem to be much interest in the Gailes game, I'm not sure how many would change their minds for Nudgee (although earlier).

We got a little bit of rain during the round, but only enough to dampen us, and the wind got up a bit too.

It was good to catch up with the lads before the big weekend.

Yeah, greens were very ordinary ... sorry about that lads :( Turns out they had a nasty fungus in them from when Blake was there last time, so they had to dig them up pretty deep to ensure they got it all out.

Yeah it was a good day even with the greens and the rain. I forgot how good it is just to catch up with the Ozgolf guys.

Personally I liked the greens. Gave me the perfect excuse for my average putting.
