It's WA football. Not really a shock at all.

It's a shame though, he was a good footballer.

One of the last people to see him alive was Ben Cousins, gee wonder what they were up to??

He admitted to having taken to cannabis and ecstacy. May finally convince the weagles to punt Cousins. Not that they will.

I know. That is guilt by association, but if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck then ......

Why, what did Cousins do that was wrong?

Why, what did Cousins do that was wrong?

That's the question isn't it. Depending on the autopsy, Cousins may have to spend a lot of time assisting police in their enquiries.

He was at the house twice that night according to WA papers.

Apparently he's already raced off the Vegas to go back to the rehab centre as well (out of his own wallet too!!). If that's the case I reckon the local cops will want a chat.

Just got back from WA - that state is in shock. Not sure what over though, the loss of a nice guy (who was known to be going through hard times), or yet another dodgy drug scandal with a sportsman.

Are these blokes the Jimmy Hendrix/Morrison of the modern era?

Yeah Mainwaring was going off the rails big time, shame on his mate Ben Cousins for trying to help him out of it.

Wow the hanging judges of Oz Golf. You guys are making assumptions, and you know what happens when you assume things. It makes an Ass of U and Me.

Raidr - we're blindly repeating what the media is feeding us. It's what we're programmed to do!!

Media were saying today Cousins went to the club and volunteered for a drug test to show he was not involved in that way. If that is hte case he may be heading the right way.

And then jumped a plane to the USA to continue his drug rehab which perhaps indicates he hasn't quite kicked the habit?

Sheesh, did he forget something?

Chris Mainwaring had taken cocktail of drugs - report

FORMER West Coast Eagles AFL star Chris Mainwaring took a cocktail of drugs before his sudden death, it was reported last night.

Mainwaring had cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis, anti-depressants, acne drug Roaccutane and alcohol in his system when he died, reported Channel 9 in Perth, which said it had obtained a toxicology report.

An autopsy and toxicology tests were carried out to determine whether drugs were involved in his death.

The sports presenter for the Seven Network in Perth collapsed and died in Perth on October 1, aged 41, shortly after refusing help from police and ambulance officers.

The two-time premiership player had reportedly been on a weekend binge, involving cannabis and ecstasy.

Disgraced West Coast player Ben Cousins visited his friend twice on the day he died

acne drug Roaccutane and alcohol Look no further. Anyone that's taken Roaccutane knows that you are not meant to drink while taking it (although it's cheaper to get drunk).

Yeah I wonder if this was prescribed to him, of if it's a drug that's taken for "recreational" purposes.

He probably took it to get rid of all the zits caused by taking all those other drugs.

He probably took it to get rid of all the zits caused by taking all those other drugs. And he was taking the anti-depressant to balance the depressant effects of the Roaccutane. It all makes sense now.
