Please talk me out of buying Tiger Woods 08!!!!

So after forking out $80 for the last installment, and being extremely peeved upon finding out that it was no different to the previous four year's efforts, I vowed that I wasn't buying the next one, no matter what. But then, I say that every year... :oops:

Now the latest one is out, and I'm feeling that familiar urge to flush another $80 down the drain...:cry:

Please talk some sense in me...

so far i've found tiger 05 the best play so far - yet even that doesn't live up to "pga tour 96" <- what a brilliant game!!

I've always found that it's new and interesting for a few weeks, then you get to a point and it starts to wane. You try and ignore it, and stay intrigued, even try the different game concepts, but you know it's had it's run.

Either download an 'academic' version to try before you buy ;), or stick to Football Manager 2007 (or '08 if it's out).
