Nice shots, Tez. Have you done any post-production on these?

Looking at the side-on shots of Tander & Lowndes, and the shot of the roses, you've got quite a bit of dirt either on the lens or the sensor.

No PP Courty,straight out of the camera(except for the pic of my Niece) and yeah there was a heap of dust got in at the v8's :cry:

Got a fair bit of it out with the rocket blower.

Got myself a new "Tour" lens today, just love how it blurs the background to make the subject really stand out.

Watch out at the Champs guys, you are all fair game 8-) :wink:

or do you mean the new lens has a greater range of depth - I didnt know that was possible :-)

Blakey, depth of field varies from lens to lens. At the photography place I worked at, we had one of these (http://www.canon.com.au/products/visual/cameras_lenses_accessories/telephoto_lenses/ef85mmf1.2liiusm.aspx). The depth of field was so narrow, that you could focus on someones eyes & their nose would be out of focus. It made for spectacular portraits.

That one is next on my hit list Courty :wink: The one I just got is the 135mm with a 2.0 f-stop.

Blakey that was the affect I was after and this is one of the lenses that does it very well, plus all my gear is fully manual if I want it to be 8-)

Finding more and more different things to photograph lately. Tonight i tried my hand at oval mototsport with a burnout comp tacked on for good measure.
Don't really know what happened with the first one or how it happened , but I like how it turned out. The compacts where fun to try and keep up with.

Did a Wedding for some friends,it was scary leading up to it but once I got into it on the day it was a great experience. Can't wait to do another one.

Only just checked in here...nice photo's all around mate. Love the burnout with the smoke and headlights only and the silhouette (spelling?) of the bird in the tree!

Those buggies are great fun, I used to navigate in one and had a blast. Bloody expensive to get into any motorsport though!
