Hi all, for sale is my beloved ULTRA RARE G-Field Premium Zone #0 putter, sad to see it go but I have changed my putting stroke which doesn't really suit this type of putter anymore.
Lie is standard 70* length is 33", Golf Pride New Decade blue putter grip, white headcover. Headweight is 350g, 100% milled from SOFT 303 stainless steel. This is the softest and most pure putter I have ever felt. The weighting is just superb, everyone who picks this up and has a putt comments about how pure it feels, the buyer will not be dissapointed. Also has the roll face insert, but its not a soft insert like a white hot.

Has a UST Frequency Filtered shaft which 'amplifies touch and feel', you can read about it here: retails for over $100. http://www.ustgolfshaft.com/shaft_models/model.aspx?id=16

Also comes with the original shaft with blue iomic style G-Field grip which would will make the putter 34".

The few that I've seen sell have gone for $300-$400 USD Bombsquad and Golfwrx. As far as I know these are only available from tourspecgolf and they have been sold out for months.

This is in asbsolutely mint condition, and as Rare as they come. Sorry guys, you were too slow, I'm going to keep her.

Thanks dc, do you have the #0?

And for those who are unsure who or what G-field is, it's complicated but its an basically offshoot of Gauge Design.

OK guys less talk about how much you paid for a crappy green one. These are genuinely worth over $300, and far better than any scotty demanding $500+. :smt016

Sorry I was referring to perhaps more rare/tour or older models, and I wasn't specifically referring to what had been sold on Ozgolf.

Ok a couple of guys have asked me about swaps. The only things I am really after are:

Bushnell Medalist or 1500 or Nikon 500g
Rife 2 bar mallet or other putter offers
A nice LIGHT stand bag
Diamana whiteboard or other exotic driver shafts

thanks

I should add some rubber cement to the list of swaps and also some club making/repair/shaft extracting equipment that someone no longer wants.

Someone offered you rubber cement ???

Cool, Jarro will use that one next instead of trades

So what makes these putters so good?? I'm after a putter thats 33", 350g head....

Iain, first of all the roll this putter puts on the ball is awesome, due to the roll grooves on the face, the ball starts rolling forward immediately without skipping or skidding. Secondly the balance of the G-field is really nice, it sits perfectly and enables a smooth stroke with its slighty toe down weighting. THe UST shaft enhances all this feel, to better know wher you made contact on the face. It's just a really good quality putter, do some google searches and you should find some very positive reviews.

i thought this exactly. why advertise this and pull it the next day.

um because it had over 400 views and no one had enough balls to buy one of the better putters going around, and I'd be damned if I was going to drop the price, so I decided to pull it off the market. I got several PMs regarding swaps and general interest, and didn't need to hang around for more days or weeks to get much of the same.

I like to do things quickly, buy, sell, whatever, I've got better things to do than check this thread every few hours to see all the mindless posts when no-one is seriously interesting in purchasing it. I also like to let the market decide how my sales go, so usually I'll drop my price even after a day, and keep dropping until it's sold, but not in this case because this putter is worth every bit what i asked and didn't want to see it go for less.

I hope I have't offended anyone that made genuine offers and swaps, I fully appreciate those, and am 100% open to trades but it just happened that no-one offered what I was interested in.

um because it had over 400 views and no one had enough balls to buy one of the better putters going aroundI'm as impatient as the next guy, but just because it comes from Japan doesn't mean it sinks every putt.

The biggest problem with Japan gear is that yes, it's great stuff, but it's resale here in Australia is crap cause the average punter doesn't know how good this gear is....

This would be what stops folks here on Ozgolf buying it, resale value, not nugget size ;)

I'd suggest mentioning in your initial post that only serious buyers need to post, that way I can go crazy with deleting off-topic posts. It seems to work for nudgee's threads.

Why don't you just lock pro-shop threads as soon as they're posted then, let serious buyers respond to the seller via PM's only ?

You have the option of locking them yourself too.

Why don't you just lock pro-shop threads as soon as they're posted then, let serious buyers respond to the seller via PM's only ?If people think it's a good idea, we could do it, but sometimes general questions about the equipment, are best answered where everyone can see it.

I've got better things to do than check this thread every few hours to see all the mindless posts when no-one is seriously interesting in purchasing it.

i see for sale threads all the time a few days/weeks old even where people ask if something is still for sale.

if i get busy i can go a couple of months without checking in here. one day for sale is not really all that long. put it this way, you don't have to check every 10 minutes, put a pm's to interested parties and just respond to those even.

as for mindless posts. it keeps the thread on top of the list and in the attention of the forum. i'm all for mindless posts. what else are there?

Was it really that painful to see my listing Withdrawn? Did you lose out? Were you hurt in any way? Where you going to buy it?

NO

I have sold many things on here and sold everything I have listed, it just so happens that I withdrew this one.

Scarfie,

dont loose any sleep over this one - the putter is worth every bit of the asking price but as Pete said cos its Japanese and not many people are familiar with this brand, the resale value is always a shocker. keep it mate, I wish I had kept mine as a back up - these putters provide the purest roll I have ever seen (except for my Black Swirl Odyssey)

IMO if anyone is genuine in buying it they will just send you a pm and that will be the end of the story - those people that are whinging about withdrawing the putter dont intend to buy it and are just shite stirring, otherwise instead of posting the comment, they would have just sent you a PM asking to seriously buying the putter.

Ducky, Amen to your comment!!!

AP I think locking the post down and letting serious buyers PM the seller is a great idea.

No need to shout mate. I was just trying to explain what goes on in threads sometimes as I follow here, iseek and golfwrx as well. I regularly check for sale threads for things of interest and a few posts here and there let me know whats interesting and whats not.
