Almost new (about 12 balls hit) NV 65 S .350 pull out from a Ping G2. $80 shipped. Driver length was 45.5" out of a standard bore so it will go into anything fine.

It works very well in jasters G2. Could be worth a try.

Is this the gold coloured shaft?

Does the different model numbers refer to the weight?

How much do they retail for?

Any help will be appreciated.

Kind regards,

Ben (Ducky).

Ducky,

No its the green shaft, the 65 is a 65 gram. I sell them online for $120 and in the shop for $196. These are a top end shaft. Very smooth feeling shaft.

The guy is putting an Aldila NV 75 in, the 65 is a little light for him. I typically fit the 65's into people and dont do a lot of 75's.

Sorry to keep asking questions and take your thread off track, but I have one further question (actually, I have two). At the moment, I am using the standard graphite shaft in my Nike TI 350cc, and True Temper S300 steel shafts in my irons. I find that I am able to control my tempo better with my irons due to the extra weight. What would be a good (heavier) alternative to my current driver shaft? And, if I upgraded to another driver later on (lets say a 450cc), would I be able to fit the same shaft into it?

I'm not sure if that made sense or not, but thanks for your help.

Kind regards,

Ben (Ducky).

Anyone who has one of these care to comment?? Jaster????

I'm really thinking about putting it in my 580. Torque seems to be higher than the stock TM shaft :?

I have no idea about shafts....hehehe

All I can say is that one of jasters mates has the nv75 in a 580xd head and the combination looks sweet. But that's all I can say about the 65.

Drunken - I really like this shaft in my G2, I would lay it on the line saying that when I am swinging good and feeling healthy this combo is the best that I have EVER HIT for the combination of accuracy and distance. I find it to be pretty tight for my swing (i.e. Accurate) and have not had any problems with the "HIGH TORQUE" that so many people say is an issue. I have a friend who plays off 2 who uses this exact shaft in an R flex in the 540XD, yep that's right and R flex and he hits it very straight. He is probably the straighest and most consistent driver that I have ever played with actually so I think the only concern you should have is whether or not the Stiff is Too stiff for you...I would say it shouldn't be but by reading this you waive any of my legal responsibilities if it doesn't work out

Seriously though, for the price I think you can't beat this shaft 8)

Wow! Great price.

I've hit this shaft in a couple of different heads at the Oxley range nights and it goes pretty good. Its described as a LOW-MID flex point shaft, producing a MID-HIGH ballflight.
