Hi all

The week after we come back from Thailand (around the 22nd to 28th) we are going to go up to Rachelle's Mum's @ Elanora for a few days. I might be able to get Rachelle's step father out for a game, not sure if he has a handicap so social game might be the go.

Anyone interested?

Light pencil of interest for me with the Sydney trip and Nambour Open weekend in the following weeks.

Not sure of dates yet have sent Rachelle's Stepfather an email to let him know and see if he is off any days while we are there.
Are weekend games on the Gold Coast hard to get if someone does not have an AGU?

I am away that weekend, however.

Of All of the member owned courses (ie cheaper) it is unlikely that you will get a game at all on a Saturday.

Any clown can get a game on any of the resort courses (ie not cheaper) anytime.

There are also plenty of el cheapo hackers tracks around Elanora for around $20 that your mate might prefer - if any I suggest Boomerang Farm, Tally Valley, Coplicks in that order. Or for an unforgettable experience of a Par '80' golf course at under 3000m long try Tallai. As Ozgolfs worst putter I cant see you getting around there in less than 50 putts :-)

Emerald Lakes is easy to get on saturday (not in comp) or sunday, i think the going rate is around $50, and you have the added advantage of playing the back 9 under lights. (I can get you a guest rate)

Burleigh Palms should be near the bottom of the list.

Try Boomerang Farm, its the pick of the public courses (although its not exactly public) part of the Clubhouse is a 100+ year old farm shed, very rustic and peaceful place, lots of Kangaroos and reasonable length course, around par 34.
