Still running my FREE Kubuntu operating system. Sure I havent worked it all out yet, but let me tell you it beats the crap out of virus removal. I have just spent the best part of a week(on and off) removing a home page hijacker from Tinas machine. Got to admit that I like being able to do that myself.

Free CD/DVD/HD burning software
Free Windows optimisation software (goughy needs this badly)
http://r.ashampoo.com/mailings/1/070914_en.htm

The burner is better than Nero, I have been using it for a while now.

They have released a new version, so they give away the old one, dont ya wish everyone did that.

you gotta sign up for the account to get the free serial number, and they do send out regular newsletters, however if you dont want them you will never know when they give away stuff.

1. What does it do that is better than Nero?
2. What does an optimiser do exactly? (more specific than "optimise" please)

its the vibe of it. It's free, just as many features, whilst appearing less complicated, and doesnt seem to be a resources pig.

would stop Goughy starting threads about how much ram his laptop is using.

I'm all for anything that stops goughy from starting threads willy-nilly. :smt023

Thanks.
