Well the Aussie fans in the crowd were booing the team and chanting "Arnold out!" at the end of the game.

You ever think maybe our team is overrated? If you look at the World and Asian Cup results you've got 1 win, 2 draws and 3 losses. And the win came after being 1-0 down until about the 85min mark.

The defenders were ****ing terrible. Arnold could see his job going down the drain in the last 15 minutes. And to right!

I have always been critical of Emerton in recent times but he seemed to be one of the few putting in...he can stay.

FFS get Cahill off the bench...he must start.

I'm still critical of Emerton, he isn't a game breaker but is treated like one. He showed much more when moved to right-back in the first game. Took the license away from him to be stupid. Having said that, his ball to Viduka for our goal against Iraq was right on the money (as was the finish). Wilkshire is my new Emerton.

Kewell hasn't been given enough support to make his cavalier runs down the left wing. 90 minutes was too much for him, he would have been better used for the first 70 or the final 35. Apart from that he hasn't played enough game time this year to expect 90 minutes in that humid heat.

And Aloisi probably has claims to start alongside Dooks up front.

Milligan and Beauchamp were superb, they had as much to do with it as the above changes. Given those 2 were far better than Lucas Neill had been, does Arnold have the balls to show faith in them? David Carney was good too.

The criticism of the players has been a bit over the top. Kewell and Cahill have hardly played in the last year. European players used to 10 degree temps when playing suddenly get faced with 35 degrees and 80% humidity. Plus you have the ongoing problem of guys who rarely play together expected to gel immediately. So I reckon the criticism was excessive.

That Graham Arnold though - nice bloke, good player, loves his country but gee get rid of him as our national coach. Quickly.
