This is the best driver shaft of all time.
If you disagree..................... you're wrong. ;)

Dibs on the Rapture then Gaz ;)
As far as the VS Proto goes, Gaz's 10.5* Rapture is the ONLY club i've hit that it feels any good in :-s

Is the VS a higher launching shaft - lower flex point? Would explain the differing opinions between the VS and NV's. I hated the feel of the NV, V2's etc, but liked the feel of the pro launch. Does that mean the VS would be something I would like???
I just found there was a distinct difference in feel between the 2 types of shafts, and the higher kick ones I didn't like. Of course I have a Fuji Vista Tour atm ;)

Definatley....Being a low ball hitter I need a high lofted driver combined with a high launch shaft, thats why I like the VS.
I've got a Hi Bore XL with a VS Proto on the way and I just picked up an FT 3 with a VS yesterday.....I'm looking for that Jarro launch angle. ;)

I hate the NV but love the VS Proto.
I have always had trouble loading the NV but not so with the VS.
If the NV works for you stick with it, if it doesn't the VS Proto is worth a go. Oh and it is so much smoother than the NV.

I hit the VS Proto too high. The UST V2 suits my peculiar swing better.

I have a VS Proto 70 in a 510 TP and it is superb. I much prefer the VS Proto to the NV. IMO much smoother shaft that allows me to maintain good control.

I never understood this vocabulary of the shaft connoisseur. It's like when you buy a bottle of wine and read the label. "This drop of red has depth and roundness with hint of fruit and plummy softness with a round finish ... " WTF ... It's ethanol, for goodness sake. Likewise, how can a shaft be smooth? What, does it have a teflon coating or something?

Shafts generally tend to feel smooth or harsh to me... examples:
Harsh: UST Proforce 65, UST V2, Aldila NV
Smooth: Diamana 83, VS Proto, Graphite Design D03
I can't believe that you think that every bottle of wine is just ETHANOL...
Have I fed the trolls enough?
