I've stumbled across this ebay store, selling golf balls. He's based in Brookwater and is a decent bloke.

I have ordered quite a few balls from Mark. He is a nice guy, plus the balls are in great condition. He orders them from the US. I have a TM Red with SERGIO on the side - I wonder if this is one of Sergio's balls?

Met up with Mark this arvo. I've never seen so many friggin golf balls in my entire life!!! I think he said he had 60-70,000, with another 50,000 on their way. Imagine a 6m x 6m double garage stacked about a metre deep with boxes and buckets all sorted into grades etc.. Quite a site!

I grabbed 40 U-TRI Tours for $50 and a dozen ProV1's for $30. I forget exactly what grade the ones I got were supposed to be, but they're all perfectly fine. Probably a range between squizzy's AA->AAA for those that have bought from him before. Very good condition and only the odd little scuff or pen mark.

I've shown mark the site and he's happy to give his preferred pricing to ozgolfers. He's given me a big price list that I will host here (once I get it soft copy).

I wasn't suggesting that he was, and I'm not sure of anyone else's pricing on 'used balls' so I only compared his two offerings (ebay and prices in this thread).

Just indicating the fact that on one speicific ball (the only one I looked at) the 'OZGolf preferred pricing' doesn't stack up. Not trying to put a downer on it as it would be great if as a 'community' we could get some great deals through bulk/continued purchases.

nah, just kidding bruce. the course is as easy as it's ever been. Because we've been in drought for a couple of years, all the thick undergrowth has died off. Off the fairways now, it's pretty bare now, but good rain in the past couple of weeks has really greened up the fairways. It's pretty lush now.

I'll be interested to see how thick the trees are and how much thicker they are then Mirboo (if at all).

Most of the holes at KV seem to run through valleys, so a wild shot tends to run back to the fairway, as trees are sparse and the ground is dry. Although if the grass has been growing, that might not happen.

Around there you are more likely to hit balls into ponds or snake infested gullies (bye bye ball) than stuff around in the trees.
