Pacific have a 4ball on and don't like em. (I can't get .1 so I can be off 7 when I play Moe.)

If anyone is having a hit and has a spare spot let me know.

Pete what's on down the Bay?

Dunno Dave. I am out of town for the long weekend. Probably single stab.

It's a bit of a drive for you, but I might play at Nambour that day. It's a stableford. $10.

Dave, depends on if we picked up our new family machine or not... if we happen to get it this week I'd like to have drive to Nambour and feel free to come aboard with me as 1st passenger outta family of the new car.

Why don't Pete and Dave just start their own group, or is that too logical?

dc68
5th June 2007, 08:48 AM
Sounds ok if there aren't 2 spots.

what are you getting Andylo?

Sorry didn't see you post this morning....

We are getting a No Style, No Life, No whatsoever 04 CRV Sport Luxury.

I still can't related the word "Sport" with CRV very well, but it beats MB E Class by a light year (on reality fact of maintenance cost, realiability and all those BS)

CRV's are a decent rig. A friend of mine is onto his 3rd one now (leases) and loves them. Lots of space for baby gear and easy to get into and out of etc. My next car will be that sort of thing.

Probably the same for us too. I don't mind the crv's either.

But its hard for me (ex-car nut) to give up a solid, well balanced, great handling, great performance car to a bloody 4WD-lish kinda thing.....

Welcome to parenthood ALo

Thanks for the "warm" welcome

(At least the damn 4WD-lish got a seat heater....)

Why the need for a seat heater in QLD? Are you going soft?

andylo
6th June 2007, 11:20 AM
Duff if I know! It comes with it.... I didn't even see it until Chris pointed it out to me.

andylo

I don't even know how it call itself a 4WD if it can't do what a Landcuriser does!

seat heaters are great. Really nice for sore backs too. And there are cold places in Qld, eg. Toowoomba, Ipswich, Warwick etc...

All in all it has the potential space to put all the baby stuff. Left passenger can access to the back seat without getting outta car. And got the colour and leather seat Christine aftering (and my sunroof) so I guess its a quality car for the requirement given.

But why would anyone go to these places?

I thought Ipwich is "the place to be" nowadays? Consider they even remove a couple of golf courses (ffs) to build a bypass?

Not too sure about Woomba and Warwick too.....

Andy

Ipswich will never be the place to be. It may cater for a better class of westy/bogans these days but they are still westies/bogans.

It's a car andy. It gets you and the family from a to b. That's the key!

BrisVegas

absolutely. price doesn't seem to be a barrier to bogans. they just get more bogans in to split the rent with.
