hmmmmm very nice - I have been hearing some nice things about this driver and have nearly pulled the trigger on one last week. Let me know how it goes - also interested in hearing about the Mamiya V shaft. I have an ERC III coming with an AXIV V 8072 this week.

This one measured at 0.5* closed... Doesn't really look closed at all at address. Apparently most are 0.5* open.

The Epon irons he had also looked real sweet. The finish on the heads was immacualte. Would be keen to hear some feedback on those.

Most of the Japan market stuff is that expensive, hard to come by I guess. A place I have shopped at is www.lastagolf.com. Just about everything has an Ion plated Diamana as standard :)

Anything that comes out of Japan is expensive. Cars, golf equipment, guitars, etc. I believe they have better quality control than the majority of other countries, and that's ultimately the difference in price.

Has anyone seen a movie called 'crazy people' with dudley moore? Nutso assylum people start writing adds which still sell the item while telling the truth "Volvo - they're boxy but they're good", and the slogan "Come to the Bahamas" has the "to" replace with "in", if ya know what I mean.

Anyway, they do a big Sony advertisment. It's all based around the fact that when standing at a work table, because Japanese people are shorter their eyes are physically closer to the work and hence have better quality control. The slogan "Sony, because caucasians are too tall!".
