At the risk of copying another thread

New teams are traditionally mediocre at best, but I have a feeling this time will be different.

I'd like to think they'll crack the top 8, but i'm not sure about their forwards .... can they hold their own against other top 8 sides ??

Their backline looks good though .. wact h for Walker to have a big year :p

Ver yhard for new teams to gel. I would like to see them make the 8 but don't think they will.

Unfortunatly I think they will miss the 8 but will be hoping they don't.

Big chance to topple the lizards on Sunday, I will be there cheering them on.

It's pretty obvious they can't finish last now, but I think a few other teams need to get caught for rorts before they are a finals chance.

i voted premiers, but I wouldn't have a clue.

I've never really followed league, to make it more interesting I've decided to follow the titans.

Depends on depth, which is generally the issue at most new clubs. Who is their feeder club ?

The other NRL clubs wanting to duck under the salary cap.

Stick to GAYFL Fishy, you obviuosly have no idea

Why does Asotasi play for Souths (apart from the Bulldogs wanting to sack the instigator of the Coffs Harbour incidents)? In fact, why does anyone play for Souths? Their former clubs failed to fit them into the salary cap.

What's your theory Jarro?

You think too much Dan

Stop being nasty and give us some feeder clubs Jarro..

And that's the last time I'll tolerate being told I think too much!

I think the feeder club for the Titans is the Ipswich Jets.

Is there just the one club? After all blokes like Lafranchi came back home to play there. Who are Ballina (Seagulls?) linked to?

dc68
13th March 2007, 03:31 PM
What? Not every club in regional comps is linked to an NRL side.
Dufus. :p

Jarro is right stick to GAYfl

Barring major injuries I'm thinking top 8 which will be a major effort.

They have a big area to draw from through northern NSW, the Queensland Cup sides on the Coast (Tweed Heads Seagulls and Burleigh Bears) and out Ipswich way.

Luke Bailey will be an inspiration (a la Ben Kennedy).

Don't be like Jarro.

They are a feeder to an NRL team, I can't remember who. So I guess 'I don't know' may have worked too.

Is it the thought that an auslander would know more about your sport than you do?

What the hell are you on about Fish !

Do you wanna know who the Titans feeder club is ? Is that the question ??

Fishman Dan
13th March 2007, 04:02 PM
As of 12:06pm that was the question posed - from your mate Louie ;) But i think the red mist may have clouded your eyesight.

FWIW, James Aubusson has joined the Storm this year from the Ballina Seagulls, though they are not a feeder club. Sorry for any inconvenience caused

Ok, where were we .....

Dan, you want to know who the Titans feeder club is don't you ? Or does Pete wanna know ?

Which one of you wants to know ? Or do you both wanna know ?

Can one of you tell me please ??

Jarro
13th March 2007, 06:15 PM
Wouldn't a more economical response be to answer the question rather than ask who the question is from ?

They're your team.. you tell him who the feeder club is !

Jarro
13th March 2007, 06:19 PM
I don't know who their feeder team is, and i don't care.

Do you know who it is ?

Since their instatement in the National Rugby League (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Rugby_League) for Season 2007, the Titans have aligned themselves with three Queensland Cup (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Queensland_Cup) clubs:

Burleigh Bears (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burleigh_Bears)
Tweed Heads Seagulls (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tweed_Heads_Seagulls)
Ipswich Jets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ipswich_Jets)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gold_Coast_Titans#Feeder_Clubs

Now shut up.
