I realise some of these prices may be optimistic, but I copied this straight from the post I made on the intranet bulletin board at work. There are plenty of nuffy's there with no idea about equipment. For the members of this forum, however, prices are negotiable. Photos can also be made available.

Actually, the R7 was crap. I couldn't make it work for me. And when I did get it to go where I wanted, it was shorter than the R540 I demo'd last week. I don't know what all the fuss was about with those R7's. Anyhow, is someone gunna buy any of this stuff or do I have to send it to ebay?

hey courty....

you're replaceing the Nike driver right???
go trial the 983K...like I did...
you won't be sorry...

yes...the R540 was crap for me too, and after a few rounds with the R580XD, I can't see what the fuss is with the new TM drivers too...

granted the R580XD is easy to hit, but distance wise - no obvious advantage... but defn EASY to use...no doubt!!! :D

These clubs are now on eBay. Fingers crossed I can raise enough to buy a new driver.

Haven't decided yet, mate.
Probably between the SMT Nemesis courtesy of Tezza
and a TM R540 or R580 (not the XD).
I've hit a few of the TM's lately and have been equally impressed. It will probably come down to price in the end.
