Jono, I reckon that grip would give me the yips!

Well, I tried it on the practice green, and I think it's a goer. With the hands level, the shoulders become more level and it is easier to line up. The stroke feels pretty smooth too. The hands feel more united and not fighting each other.

One problem ... and a pretty big one at that. I can't fit the thing in my bag. I might have to make a little hook or something outside the bag ...

Just FYI ... a normal putting grip weighs about 60 grams. This beast weights 235 grams!

How can a grip weigh that much ? sounds to me like the heavy putter theory, make it so heavy that your average yipper won't yip it.

Won't work for those with advanced yips ;) IMHO of course.

Tour yips? You may be on to something here Pete.Ask Bernhard Langer ;) Chris DiMarco, Freddy Couples, Nick O'hern (who can yip a long putter) etc etc. Gimmicks are gimmicks, plain and simple.

try drilling through a bowling ball and putting that on the putter?

I think the heavy weight is a byproduct. It's thick and chunky. It's actually shorter than a normal putter grip as the hands go side by side. I'll take some pics and post it up later.

There are some demo videos on the website that shows you how this grip is used.

So has anyone taken my Worst Putter tag yet? I don't think I am a deserving holder of that title.

What's with the slight movement of the putter towards the bottom of the screen at the start of the takeaway? You should get that analysed.

Eags and I played in a comp with a guy who had one of these grips on his putter. I gave it a practice roll and it felt riduculous :p wayyy too big.

This isn't a new idea. A guy at my club has been using a similar grip on his putter for the best part of a decade.

It's the lpga, they'd have to have it snipped to play, or at least pull a sean (whats-her-face) from Ace Ventura.

Now if it was a guy with one of those grips I'd be worried!!

More legal than wedges with tricked up grooves ... ;)
