Finally!

Go to www.imgspot.com and upload your image. It will respond with the necessary code.

Use the code thats in the 5th box "Your Image in BBCode "and - voila! I think sometimes itsa little slow but hey - it works. Its so simple even Goughy will be able to get the hang of it.

Here is a pic of me repairing my PC.

"We are very sorry, but for the next few days we will not be accepting any new image uploads because too many users are uploading images that violate our terms. This is causing our servers to overload"

Any other websites allowing image uploads? What about Kodak Ofoto?

I use imageshack.us - seems to be pretty good.

Most of you must have an ISP at home and almost every ISP gives their users at least 10MB of web space.

You can host it yourself at something like http://yourisp.com.au/members/~username/

Get yourself an FTP program (you can even get a plug-in for Firefox) and upload the images there. I host all mine myself. I don't outsource such personal details ;)

Yep, i have the web space but can't get to it from my work network. And of course when i'm at home i can't be ar$ed setting these things up.

the problem with using your own webspace is when you change your ISP, all your pics are gone.

and then you have to teach some of these gumby bears how to FTP.

Imageshack is the go, also if you login it keeps a history of all your pics and a photo album thingy.

I just posted my images to ImageLink.org. 2mb space to upload for free, which allows 1 Gb of viewing.

Easy enough, get to create folders etc. You can also upload batches as a single .zip file and it will seperate them.

Found another simple hosting site: www.imagecave.com

10 mb free, 1Gb viewing (plenty).

The 15 or so pics i just posted were about 1.50 mb - work on about 10 pics per Mb, slightly less for larger.

When (if?) you upload here, make sure you un-tick the feature to reduce the file size, because it inevitably reduces the image quality.

Tried Yahoo earlier but couldn't complete the rego process from work.

Dont worry about Yahoo. this forum doesnt support linking to yahoo albums (becuase of scripting in the yahoo url)
