Good to see Steve Bowditch staying in the form that saw him go so well last week. He is at -4 after 14 holes. Leader @ -6.

Good they Mr J Abbott told his mates to look at the score-ticker at the bottom of the screen. He'd be the first name displayed..

..at +24

Looking forward to watching some of it tomorrow. Are all the same guys from the Australian Open playing?

The young amatuer looks like showing them up early, he is playing pretty well. 3 shots in front at the close of coverage.

The young fella looked wound up tighter than a drum before the start.

He sounds like a kid in a candy store walking down the fairways though. Justin Rose will be glad when the round is over!

he played well though, to finish even par for the round after having double on the first, then bogey on the third.

Justin Rose looks to be swinging the club really well, very nice swing.

Nice also to see Lonard lurking a few shots off the pace ;)

Puts a great roll on his putts. The last 2 holes went straight in the middle.

How firken annoying are the commentators?! Particularly Ogle and Riley!!

Riley has to go ... NOW !!! Absolute tripe.

Bogle i can deal with as they don't let him near the mike anywhere near as much as they used to, maybe if he got someone to write some new jokes for him he might be a bit more bearable

My money is on Paul Casey. With Nike sponsorship, is it possible to be unsuccessful?

He has an eagle putt coming up, talk about pressure on the putt. Will he be doubting the fact he can get it anywhere near the hole.

Looks as if the Masters is going to be won by the guy that does not lose it. They all seem to have the stumbles at the moment.

Go the Amatuer, Pike just chipped in to go -11 and have a share of the lead.

Classy effort from the Indooroopilly champ. Pity about the bogey bogey finish.

I felt sorry for Aaron Pike putting into the bunker on the last. Full credit to him for having a crack at a difficult putt in a situation that called for it.
