A mate of mine reckons the Srixon ZUR is as good as the second coming of one J.Christ. :)
I said c'mon it can't be that good but he said it bloody is......well is it???

Thought the ZUR was OK. Find the Z-URS to be more to my liking. Don't find a lot of difference between the URS and the V1x myself. Think the URS falls in between the V1 and V1x. Do prefer the V1 though as I like a bit more spin around the greens but for the price of the URS I'll make the sacrifice.

I like the Z-URS a lot. I played a Z-URC today, and it spins a bit more and is a bit softer again. Seems to fly a little higher, too, but that could just be me.
prmeier's description of between V1 & V1x is about right, I reckon. Very good value balls, the Z-UR series, IMO.

i used them for ages but have switched recently for more spin around the greens.

Valour. If i'm going to watch telly all day and be plied full of commercials, i'll spend my money to those making the most effort ;)
Now if APPLE made a golf ball......

What's wrong with the Srixon ads anyway ?
They're heaps better than the Callaway ads .... "simply put, i'm playing the best golf of my life with this ball"
yeah right

Probably no Jarro. The mark up on golfballs seems to be pretty low. I bought some u-tries from him a while ago. Being ass manager his discount is much higher than regular staff, but he said the paperwork he had to fill out to get me the extra $2 off on the dozen wasn't worth it. Even he was shocked at how ow the margine was.

is there really that much of a difference between the two ?
I mean, i remember trying the B330 and B300S and to me they felt exactly the same.

I used ZUR-S the other day at Magenta thinking i'd spray the Titleists all over the park. After a while i didn't bother changing back because i couldn't really tell any difference. The Srixon's are a good ball at a good price.

Jarro,
I haven't noticed a difference, but I'm holding onto a few pills as backups to the Prov1X, so I'm keeping the ones you didn't want ;)
Although I guess I'd take their word for it that the S is softer, but I honestly couldn't tell the difference.

Jamie at Golfworks looked after me yesterday with $10 off the price of 1 dozen ZUR-C's. :)

i consider them pretty well on par with the prov1 and 1x's. i just find the titleists to be a little more durable. for $30-$39 a dozen, it's a much better deal than $80 for pro v's in my opinion.
