Playing somewhere on Saturday afternoon. Course TBA, but somewhere outside of the city. Can we get a foursome like the old days?

I'm out for Grange sorry. I don't enjoy either course that much to pay the asking $.
I'm still up for a hit out somewhere country if your Grange game falls through.

Fair enough. I'm not married to Grange. My only constraint is transport - I'm staying in the CBD and don't have a car, so courses without a reasonable taxi/uber ride are appealing.

If you (or someone else we can rope in) wants to trade me transport for green fee, let's go someone country.

Sounds good. Where do you want to play? Let me know your preferences and I'll ring around tomorrow afternoon to try to book. Tee time around 1pm?

I haven't played Kapunda or Balaklava (you asked in the other thread). Balaklava might be good, I never got around to playing the Balaklava open while I was living down here.

Playing Stirling at 8.40ish. 2 spare spots if you guys were interested but sounds like you want to go more country.

For 1pm Tee time Balaklava is best as Kapunda is a 9hole course and after checking their website is open to Green Fees players after 2:30 only. Having said that at either course we can join in the Comp not a problem but tee time at Kapunda is 11:00-12:00 and 11:40-12:30 at Balaklava.
Balaklava is 18 and less numbers play so no issue with 1pm or after there. No need to book Balaklava, we can just rock up and play. If someone’s on the bar we can pay before playing or fix it up after the round.
Green Fees are $30 at Balaklava and $20 at Kapunda.

Balaklava is 1hr 15min from the City
Kapunda is 1hr 5min from the City
Travel times are no issue for me.
PM me, address and time to pick you up so I can work out what time I'm going to work until Saturday morning. My finish time is very flexible and entirely up to me.

Enjoy the round fellas. I would join you but pennants starts Sunday and I need to ensure I'm fit for that given first game is at Cement Hill.

Good day out at Balaklava. We got there and found out it was a Par comp, which gave us a bit of a chuckle. Course was good, great country hospitality after the round. And I picked up 3rd in A Grade (with an admittedly small field). Thanks for the lift and the game Hatchy.

Any time, glad you enjoyed the course in what was quite hot conditions.
Glad my stupidity of not taking water with me didn’t ruin a good round you had going after I wasn’t in a good state of health on the 14th.
Was a pleasure to watch some good ball striking.
