Lowry was the one highlight for Europe last time out in an otherwise forgettable RC.
It's a fine balance between blooding youth for the future and winning, especially your home events.
If it comes down to the wire, I'd rather lowry over Meronk on Sunday in matchplay.

Cantlay reportedly also declined to attend the gala dinner this week, and he is reportedly sitting in a different part of the locker room along with teammate and close friend Xander Schauffele.

It might be drawing a long bow to connect the 2 but Cantlay is pretty widely known to not be happy about not being paid for this.
