Just wondering which are the choice ones to look at? Especially if they have a good rep for after sales service!
Currently looking for a monitor and graphics card, but much more in the future.

I just go to Umart online, but I don't have any experience with the after sales service.

I use them lots.Umart has no 'service' they are more or less a vending machine. Primarly for hobby builders and small time businesses that cant get wholesale accounts. Umart more or less cheaper than wholesale anyway, they dont want to deal with "public"

If you know what you want they are great. If you need buying advice or dont know how to turn it on, go elsewhere.

Of course they do warranty service and i have good results from them. But if what you send back is just fine you will be charged the idiot fee. they aint gonna show you how to use it.

I mostly use Computer Alliance at Mt Gravatt. I have bought my last 6/7 Systems from them. They have a full service offer and have been very good for me. The last System was faulty out of the box and they spent a long time chasing the fault for me. Turned out to be a very intermittent fault in a Cooling System component.

MSY is same as UMart for service. If you want service go to CA.

I built my PC ordering from PC Case Gear. Another one i use is CentreCom because I can click and collect locally. Never really had to deal with them for any after sale issues though so cant help you there.

CA have sales people so you can sit down with them and design what you are after and they will build it for you. They have lots of systems configurations as stock, but I always find I want to mod somethings and delete others. There are some many component options it good to get their insights as you build the config you want.

I was just walking the dog and thinking about what I was asking here, and it's kinda funny when you realise that I used to work at Dataquip in Mt Ommaney back in '93.....
(you might need to Google it)

Had positive experiences over many years with both PC Casegear and Scorptec.

I've just learned that msy are umart... Serves me right!
8 days and still waiting for a delivery from Brisbane. I have no doubt it's not their fault, but basically that's the last 3 times having dealt with umart that's sour. Serves me right for trying to save $10.

We've just built up a couple of gaming PCs and we pieced it all together from PCCaseGear, scorptec, umart and amazon.

Only had one component DOA and that was luckily through umart who gave a refund on the spot.

That's nice of them. They were great for us until the last two times where there were issues, and discovered how bad they were when there was a problem.

I have used Umart, MSY, Shopping Express, BPC Tech, Computer Alliance, Amazon, PC Case Gear..., basically any reputable seller who has the cheapest parts at the time as I always build my own PCs.

If I need parts fast I normally use Umart/MSY or Computer Alliance as I can pickup parts directly.
