Interesting, and something I'd never REALLY thought about with irons. I am tempted to follow the lead of old mate and throw a little weight into the toe (as similar to him my miss is also the turnover right) to see what happens. It might be "in the noodle" as they said, but anything to help even in the slightest is a good start, right?

At your level, the 1%'ers can make quite a difference. To me, it might mean that I end up closer to the front lip of the bunker than in the middle of it ;)

I also liked what I saw and will most likely experiment

warning: this content not safe for those who fall down rabbit holes, I am already pretty deep down. :)

moving the weight around seems to have a significant effect. David Edel calls it steering force, creating leverage around the axis of the golf club. How he discovered this is interesting, and how the effect is very different between golfers.

Edel have had it in their wedges for a while and released Irons in 2022. TXG have done a test on them, but they didnt get very deep into it. Ithink they missed an opportunity to really explore something different

If you dont know who David Edel is, he invented the first set of One Length irons that Bryson used at about age 14, and formerly well known for his unique 'heel' hang putters. I am very keen to go get fit for one my next trip to USA, USD400 not cheap so might as well do it right !
