Ok, i've had a crack but failed
Trying to remove shaft out of an old ping Anser 2 with ball bearing
Don't want to drill a hole in the hosel
I cut the shaft down, applied heat and then put ice but didn't work
Any help appreciated
Cheers

Do some searches on GOLFWRX for some suggestions.

With not much shaft left the only way may be to drill a hole in the underside of the hosel and punch the ball bearing out.

The other could be to grind the ball bearing out from down what’s left of the shaft.

I tried the freezer method with a ping putter head and it didn’t work.

Possibly not enough shaft left to get it out. You need to use a propane torch and getting so hot that the metal goes cherry red. Put the heat on the underside of the hosel (where you would drill the hole to punch it out). If that doesn’t work, do the same again and just dip the hosel in water for a split second.
Otherwise you could send it to AGS and ask them to send it back to PING USA and they have a sparkenator which will disintegrate the ball bearing. You could also ask them to re-tumble the head whilst it’s there if you are willing to spend the money.

Drill the bottom side of the plumbers neck out creating a small hole. Can then punch it out with something. Can glue or weld up the hole. Don't see from address. They are a mess
