Video Calls on the Net

Hi

Since we have a large number of people who are more technically savvy than myself (not hard) I thought I would ask for some assistance.

My in-laws, located in Perth, have expressed an interest in setting up some sort of video calling over the net so they can see and talk to their granddaughters.

What is a simple, reasonably cheap and reliable method of achieving this?

Webcam (buy) and windows live messenger (Free). Works well for 1 to 1. doesn't conference call. Assuming you are both on ADSL.
