I'd say yes - but Johnny boy wouldn't like it. He wouldn't bother about me being in a motel room with six shady guys - but he would hate to see me gamble.

I would surprised if I'm holding my first hand before 11pm.

By that stage, you might be opting out for a game of strip poker with Flowergirl. ;)

Moe Norman

Is anyone that went to Bribie going to admit this game never happened?

Iain
1st November 2006, 08:17 AM
Yeah, I took Shavey's, Matt's and Bruce's money off them in the early sober game!!

Grunt
1st November 2006, 08:21 AM
Oh ok so there were 2 games a serious sober game and a pissed idiots game!

Hang on - is that Bruce in the last pic? I thought he went home not feeling well from the surf club?

PeteyD
1st November 2006, 02:10 PM
He did. Richard woke him up at 1:00 to get him to play cards.

dc68
1st November 2006, 02:12 PM
Well to do the dealing anyways.

dc68
1st November 2006, 02:13 PM
And damn if that isn't the biggest zit you have ever seen coming out the top of Damo's head.

Bruce
1st November 2006, 03:08 PM
"Wake up Bruce - let's play cards"
"Yeah! Cards!"
"I'm all in!"
"Woohoo Cards!"
"..."
"So... Who knows how to play cards?"

At this point I cost myself $80 by offering to deal for them. I've seen kindergarten groups better suited to learning a game that involves paying attention and taking turns correctly. Hope your missus likes those shoes Rawlo.

And Iain did forget that I got my money back and some by the end of the night...

Sounds like we might have to organise another game soon...

I only have a very vague recollection of the game. Choppa had me under his wing on the scotch and it all became a bit messy. I still giggle when I think about the pair of 7's though.....:-D

I am really regretting opting out of that game ...

Iain

AndyP
2nd November 2006, 12:07 PM
It's called a bluff. A piss-poor one, but still a bluff.

Grunt
2nd November 2006, 01:09 PM
After seeing the 7's win I went all in on a pair of 8's trying to bluff too, didn't work. :(

Get your arse down here and teach us.

After seeing the 7's win I went all in on a pair of 8's trying to bluff too, didn't work. :sad:I thought I got to the bottom 3, and you were already out by then. To be honest, I don't really remember much at all.
