Greater Melbourne Area, Thurs-Fri 14-15 July 2022

I'm in Melbourne for work on Wednesday next week, and as I did last time, I'm going to extend my stay for personal travel. At this stage, I am eyeing off a couple of rounds on the Bellarine Peninsula (Barwon Heads and 13th Beach maybe?), however if an OZgolfer is available for a round, I'm happy to travel to and play with them. At this stage, I have made no bookings for accom, car hire or golf, so I'm open to suggestions or invitations.

Sorry about the late notice, but this travel has been on and off for a few weeks and was only just confirmed this week, although I'm still waiting on leave approval, which should be okay.

I am a very small possibility Andy, will be down that way (Melb) at that time to see inlaws. Missus has jam packed the itinerary and the car, so will do my best to squeeze clubs in and sneak out.

See post above MT. The work day was on and off for weeks, then I got confirmation to book travel at the start of the week. Booked the work components of travel this morning, trip cancelled early this afternoon.

At least I have some components of a trip for next time sorted out. I had decided on staying in Torquay for a couple of nights, visiting a few breweries, playing golf at 13th Beach (beach course) and Lonsdale Links. Then spend the weekend with my brother including Hawks at the G, and golf at Sanctuary Lakes. Next time...
