Haven't seen a thread on this so assumed no-one here has seen this and thought some may be interested. Probably the best functioning adjustable golf club to date.

https://urquhart.golf/

Now available to pre-purchase on Kickstarter.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/urquhartgolf/urquhart-adjustable-loft-golf-club?ref=web&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=urquhart+dot+golf&utm_term=

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgxruqdJEag&t=25s

few other videos available on youtube etc to see it, they are currently at the PGA Golf Show in America showing it off.

Anyway I liked what I have seen so far and have ordered one via kickstarter, I think they could be a fun way to get out and have a quick round, without dragging all your gear with you.

Anyway thoughts??

Your a bit cheap? then hey?. One club for an entire round. Plenty people on here spend 400 plus on a putter, 600 plus on a driver.

That answers the question no-one asked ... What would it be like to play with a 23* six iron and a 39" sand wedge?

I've seen the same concept in an ad in a 1950's Popular Mechanics magazine. And every decade since, but never with the same brand name.

There are 11 settings 5* all the way to 64* at approx 6* increments, so their are settings in between the markings on the hosel. And the extra long grip 3.5" longer than standard, allows varied grip options to alter playing club length.

No, I guess I was after intelligent thoughts, I had no issue with the comments of 4putt and dotty, Webster however appears to be suitably iq deficient to disqualify himself from such, sadly...

Just a thought; if you're adjusting the club after every single shot - that's like 70+ times a round; and then smacking it into the ground; rinse/repeat.

Surely the adjustable hinge/slot is going to wear out quicker than expected.

Also the site is looking for passive investors/backers, perhaps be transparent about this in your original post.

I'm waiting for the advertisement that reads... 'Hits the ball so far, that the governing bodies want to ban it'.

Why, it's not my gig, I just thought some other golfers whom hadn't seen it may like a look.

It's already non-conforming, no need to ban it twice.

Not for me personally. I carry stuff in my bag other than clubs that I simply wouldn't be able to without it, whether I'm playing social/practice rounds or proper competition rounds.

More than a handful of ozgolfers still refer to me as Henwah in casual, daily conversation.

Have vague memories of playing with something similar back in the 1980s - a friend brought one back from either the US or UK. Awful awful club - think it was something like the below:

Isn't this very concept has been done at least 2 iterations already? Apart from the fact that this time is being done in a hybrid form rather than a SGI cavity style?

Rick Shiels did a video on it a few year ago.

https://youtu.be/YUpJEJ0tYA4

And if you game:
https://divnickgolf.com/adjustable/

And it cost waaaay less.....

It even has it's own "carry bag"!! Or... well.... belt bag.

Rick Shields wasn't a fan of the Divnick, adjustment was fiddly and ambiguous as to what setting you were on.

This was for sale in the 80's, and i think its dated a decade or 3 older than that which suggests they sold a few. Its major shortcoming with this would be the bounce being messed up. Seems Urquhart has over come this issue with their innovative sole design so its possibly quite usable. Not for ozgolf club hoes we know, but most of the golfing world doesnt play golf like we do.

If there’s a market for it, it might be the once or twice a year golfers but they’d need to be convinced they don’t need 14 clubs (we know how difficult that is. People who should know better still “need” 14 in the bag) and it’d need to cost about $100, not 4 times that.

For $100 I’d buy and use one.
