So this is how it played out

The guy had a persimmon Cleveland classic 4 wood that I was interested in for $5, it needed some work, but would have been a good pickup as they aren't that easy to come by.

He comes back to me this afternoon and asked if the Cleveland was the only one I was after. I said yes and he then came back saying that his old man was/is a club collector and this made into the pile by mistake.

He then said it's not for sale, but if his old man wanted to sell he'd get back to me, unless I wanted to make an offer. He now wants $50 for it, bloody dodgy Gumtree sellers.

He can stick the $50 as far up his arse as it will go, appalling

Also very nearly my home. My mum and dad left Manly (NSW) for Brsbane for a job offer and I popped out weeks later in Manly (QLD).
