Question for the shaft gurus!

What would be a current equivalent for: Graman UL440 G Series ‘Limey’? Specs were: A/R/S 55-61gm, 3.3 torque, 0.350

I gather this is an Ultra Light shaft of around 45g. Perhaps a ultra light Miyazaki. Cleveland changed to Miyazaki for stock UL shafts, and I think still use them. I have a Miyazaki kua 43 in Reg in a Classic 290 Head that I really like. And a 39 R version in a 270 head that is very similar.

i checked and I also have Launcher DST with an MR Diamana 44v SL shaft in Stiff. Haven't swung it in anger as yet to give an impression. The later Cleveland CG Blacks used Bassara 45g shafts. I found them to be very soft whippy slingers. The whip is probably partly because of the length of the club at 47+"

I had the UL540 before i was doing my own clubs but it was a bit high spin in the setup i got so i sold it. Nabbed the UL780 later on and it was a much better fit. I need to dig that out for old times sake. Graman had a bit of an online following for a while.

Wow, good find! Shame it is in a head I couldn't even give away!

Planning on getting mine removed from the old head, and fitting a Cobra tip to it - just need to get a tip and probably need to suss trimming the shaft!?

Yeah just be careful, I rate the shafts from the sl290 but they’re only .350. You can get the Miyazaki in .335 but they cost a bomb.
