Happy new year to all you golfing champions and to all you hacks as well :)

Lets talk about hand eye coordination. It is said that hand eye coordination is extremely important in golf, will any form of hand eye coordination exercise assist in improving ball striking ? Some exercises i'm thinking of doing more regularly (if people think they are effective) is catching reflex balls thrown on a wall, using a speedball and of course the fun activity of video games :)

I think athletic ability is more appropriate.

Old wives tale.

Hand eye co-ordination would only help, when hitting a moving ball.

Muscle co-ordination is what is needed to get the clubhead to the back of the ball with maximum efficiency.

Yep. Guys like Brad Hughes even talk about swinging with your eyes closed occasionally to eliminate the issue of betting ‘ball-bound’ or ‘ball-focused’.

I think my hands and eyes coordination is pretty good... but just the body sway is killing my swing
