View Full Version : Value of Multi-Day Golf Schools

Just spotted this in my inbox from Andrew Rice, a 2 day golf school with 3 top coaches.

Cost is ~$4500 AUD for the whole package.

I’d be pretty keen to go to one of these if only to see if the output is worth the cost. Essentially for the cost of a new set of clubs you get 2 days at a sweet resort with three of the best coaches in the world.

Has anyone here ever been to something similar to this either in the US or here at home?

Sounds like a bargain. How many hookers do you get?

It sounds expensive but mga where I go is 140 an hr for a lesson , and 24 hrs is 3360 so as long as accom was good and you had plenty of time with these guys it isn’t that bad . Think you would need to have a reason eg on scratch and want to go to pro level , or on 5 wanting to get to scratch by fixing flaws in your game .

He would after the weekend. I’m sure Brad would be taking a cut of that. I think I read between 2-5% is a standard rate for Pro coaches.

I’ll clarify though, I’ve got no intention of dropping $5k to go see these guys HOWEVER if the opportunity presented itself I think I’d enjoy the experience as a whole.

2 nights at the Waldorf in Orlando with breakfast included. [emoji6]That's a down vote, not much good golf in Orlando.

Get them to move it to Streamsong and its a boom!

Aimed a people with sizable disposable incomes more than any one else IMHO
The majority that go it would just be a wristy feast to boast about to their mates that don't have the disposable incomes.
Good luck to those that can afford.

Ain’t that the truth.

Closeness to an airport is obviously key if you look at their recent schools.

A range is a range though when you’ve got Roseys coach there surely?? As long as the spa is rocking?

Wouldnt work for me, information overload. Then one day later i wouldnt remember anything.

For that money I would rather pay for a dedicated long term coach, like one lesson a week for a year.

But that would be too sensible for OzGolfers....

plus; have a higher risk of spending the $$ on week 2 on a new set of clubs :D
