Hi Gents,

Looking to get my hands on a decent nick persimmon driver with a steel shaft. This is what I started playing golf with with my Old Man as a 13yo in 1997; haven’t hit persimmon in at least 20 years but keen to reconnect with it.
I know GolfTraders has a bunch of them, but if any OzGolfers have one they’d consider moving please let me know.
Cheers,
FJ.

FJ if you strike out on here, forget about golf traders. The stuff on their website looks pretty ordinary, particularly for the price. If you’re patient you can find some great gear on eBay, particularly US eBay. All of mine have been bought on there. 80s Cleveland’s are probably best bang for buck and should still be in good nick. Vintage MacGregors are the ducks nuts though, IMHO at least.

Got a persimmon set of driver, #3 and #5, handcrafted by Phil Scott, Adam Scott's father when he was a pro in Adelaide.

Cheerz :) :D ;)
