I've no doubt that the TV coverage will show nothing other than the progress of this group.

Geoff Ogilvy could have been in great position if it wasn't for a few bad holes. His round included seven birdies, two bogeys, and one double bogey.

Well after changing a few settings on my PC, I finally got the live stream working.

Its actually quite good quality. They should do this in more tournaments.

Well, after watching the pairing (grouping would be a more suitable term) of Mickelson, Ogilvy, and Woods, I would not be surprised if Ogilvy wins. He is all over the pins and appears to be striking the ball exceptionally well. Both Mickelson and Woods were struggling off the tee and playing recovery golf (but did manage to escape penalty on numerous occasions).

There wasn't a whole lot of coverage for the other players, but Allenby did get his fair share and had a lot of birdie opportunities. Unfortunately, he was putting terribly and didn't capitilise.

Great round by Ogilvy, right there with Woods. Watching you could really see he was enjoying his round with Tiger. Different story for Mickleson, he looked like he was right out of place in the group.

Grunt
19th August 2006, 09:42 AM
Did I miss it or do Tiger not shake Mickleson's hand after the round completed?

I had to laugh at this part of an article from PGA.com.

While Ogilvy never expected to be the crowd favorite, he did draw some satisfaction from being recognized now and then. Until he capitalized on Mickelson's meltdown at the U.S. Open in June, he was often confused with PGA Tour regular Joe Ogilvie. So much so that on Thursday, squeezed in among all the "Go, Phil!" and "You're the man, Tiger!" shouts was at least one "Go, Joe"

a solid round by Ogilvy tonight would validate his US Open win and shut some pie-holes in the states for good!!!

Geoff just blew it, missing 2 x 5 footers on the 3rd for double.

On the plus side Scott is making a charge, 3 under through 6.

Make that 4 under through 7 for Scotty...tied 4th, 4 back from Tiger.

5 under through 9...

Nearly the first time Scott has made a charge on a Sunday in a major.

That's 12....will take a brave man to think he is not going to break The Bears record within the next 5 years. Having been a huge Nicklaus fan my whole life and owning 20 odd books of his I find it surreal to think someone is only 6 majors off equally him. I honestly thought it was so far out of reach when I was a kid.
