As I was applying some Imperial Leather to my forearms in tonight's sauna, it occurred to me that there seems to be a link between becoming a moderator and a sharp decline in posting.

Jimandr, bless, seems the exception that proves the rule and i'm very much a correlation is causation kind of guy, so it occurs to me that instead of infractions problem posters should be made moderators and problem solvered.

It has been noticed. Making someone a moderator has also been known to drive them away from golf altogether.

Not a bad idea Yoss, certainly a way to keep popular posters in the loop. Perhaps you could reach out to Greg Normal's mate or ask Scott Laycock for Zigs details.

Do I need to click on the link at home?

Not for THAT particular sub....

Moderators have their own private sub forum and prefer that to interacting with the usual di^kheads on here.

I am glad I could buck that trend.

Mod henno was a menace.
Post-mod henno barely posts.
