With no Champs in Victoria this year, and a move that was not approved, this 9 hole round will be the Official Vic Champs.

I am currently leading through four holes, and will update more.

A triple bogey but still leading.

A bogey on six. Bogeys may be enough from here.

The gallery is pleased. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190227/14858105a5ad3cedad3ea3482d1d120f.jpg

The Vic Champs has been stuffy for too long with fancy pancy courses.

It was time for a casual Champs with no planning and no collars.

This event is on par with the OzGolf night golf champs

A mess made of the birdie putt that would seal it. Getting tense? The par putt just drops in.

What's with these wanky courses that have nineteen or more holes? This Champs has a 100m par 3 with a temporary green, where you'd take a bogey, if offered.

Mission accomplished with the boge. I don't know the exact scores of the chasing pack, but barring a ninth hole disaster, I think I'm safe.

Who’s marking the card?

Who’s marking the card?

Not sure, but Grumpy ended up winning by a point.

What a par save on the last from behind the tree! The last putt was as clutch as the final putt to win me the 2014 Vic Champs.

If you had have asked me last week, if I thought I was a chance of winning this year's Vic Champs, I would have said no way. To be the first to win two is pretty special. Especially when this year it was gross only, to prevent a handicap farmer from winning it.

Who’s marking the card?
Since when does that happen in OZgolf Champs? Doesn't someone in the group mark all of the cards, Virginia style?

My brother won the NAGA FWIW.
