I've got the older F3, which has no images and just gives you distances to front, centre, back and maybe doglegs etc. Plus layups. It does about the right amount without throwing too much at me. I reckon that's about what I need in the way of help without it getting me into analysis paralysis.

I never wore watches or anything ever for sport, and certainly not during good but got used to it quickly. I think a rangefinder would be more accurate to the flag bit this is more than enough for me and probably many people. Plus it takes half a second to check.

The scores feed back to an app, and it also seems to detect shots played.
