Hi,
I play off 4 - 6 hcp at Kooyonga GC in SA, been down to 1.9 and currently game the 2014 Apex Forged with XP95 S300 shafts, I'd purchased the CF16 but returned to the 2014 Apex due to feel and performance. Aged 64.
I have the opportunity to purchase a like new set of Epic Pro iron set with XP95 S300 shafts for about 50% RRP, or about A$1,450 with GST and duties.
I was planning on having a Callaway club fit for the new Rogue Pro irons on 10-Augst but have to decide by end of this week if I want the Epic Pro iron set.
Can anyone provide feedback of the Epic Pro iron performance against either the 2014 Apex, Apex CF16 or Rogue Pro irons, I realise the Epic Pro and Rogue Pro irons aren't forged?
At A$1,450, the Epic Pro iron set 4-PW + AW are only marginally more expensive than the Rogue Pro irons.
