SA Champs Poll: Nov 2018 or April 2019?

As per the heading, just trying to gauge peoples thoughts as to the timing/date of the next SA Champs?

A proposal has been put forward to move it to April, potentially better weather, courses not coring etc BUT this is also school holiday time and Easter?

Either way for me, it is dependant on work and whether I could be fussed with golf.
6 months ago I would have been keen for 2 lots of champs.

PS: It's an Ozgolf Champs weekend. It's bound to piss down or blow its tits off either way.

I can do November but possibly only 10/11 or 17/18.

I've got surgery that I am hopefully scheduling for early December so that will mean 6 months minimum off golf so I'd be unable to make the April date next year.

Either way, go with whatever date works best for most and if I can't make it I'll find a way to get the jacket back down :)

10/11 works for me. 17/18 does not. From memory the problem with earlier November was the risk of clashing with schoolies in Victor Harbour, but that only really matters if we were wanting to play down that way...

Schoolies don't really hang out at Mt Compass, hence we should be just fine
