Has been brought to my attention that NSW have decided to move there Champs to November 3-4 this year.

Since the beginning SA Champs has been held in November, is the fact that there is now potentially going to be 2x Champs rounds in the one month going to impact anyone looking to venture over to SA? No dates have been set yet BUT November is still the preferred month.

Thoughts/input from likely participants ..............

It shouldn't be a problem.

We struggled to get 4 takers in the last attempt of a NSW Champs. (Same story as the decline of the NSW matchplay around 2010.)

Make it late November, and it is even less of a problem.

General consensus today was to put a move on the table to April 2019..,,

to make this CRYSTAL clear - it is only a suggestion

November is @ the tail end of the storm season in Adelaide, a large portion of clubs are in coring and its also bit close to Christmas. April always has nice weather, is normally in a quiet period for most and the courses are lush as they have had a bit of rain since the heatwave

Scrapping 2018!?

Perhaps, I’m not around for champs late November + I know others have commitments

Not up to me or all about me, just wonder how many you’re gonna get turning up in late Nov

I might not be around late October ( I discussed with the daughter about our OS trip last night for her 21st) with what is going on in my life at the moment.
November I will be flat strap with this new work contract. As the opposition companies are starting to fail slowly we are picking up more and more work.

95% sure I won't be a member of a club then either.

April has Easter and 2 weeks of school holiday, is that likely to impact on people's availability?
