According to Hatch it will be Mannum

As the triumphant winner of Murray Bridge, I announce Mannum to be our next venture, as discussed over the meal.

Obviously we have Mudda's Day to contend with so probably either 3rd or 4th week in May if this suits.
There is a special there for Drummond Members also.

Let us know.

Is it still a 9-hole course or have they now done the other holes for 18?

20/5 Mannum sounds good to me.
Looking at their program on the Web there is nothing on that day to clash.

Just rang the club. No booking necessary as he said there will be 10 people at the most on a Sunday.

Just rock up, pay and enjoy the day.

I'd probably prefer 18 as I haven't played there before.

to be discussed on the weekend

The general feeling after last year was to have the Friday round, Kitchener Cup, at The Vines as it is one of the few places where we can get dinner afterwards, Sunday at RAGC as per usual, (assuming that it's available!?), leaving the Saturday round of the Champs to be decided along with the other days people want to play.

Depending on the date of coring greens etc Mt Compass was proposed by more than one person as the Saturday venue!

Who's in for this Sunday?

If there's a foursome already, I'm happy to the wait for the next hit.

We’re meeting at about 9am. No tee off time as will be quiet.

Thanks for the hit guys, course was more undulating than what I expected, some interesting green contours and dogleg drives, shot of the day belongs to Hatch and his left handed reverse pitch over the trees, trickshot madness

Pretoria Hotel incredibly good as expected. Best schnitzel I’ve had in quite some time

:D:D Only good iron shot I hit all day.
I don’t remember much of the course or the greens having that much slope on them the one and only time I’ve played it years ago. I do remember the pines lining the RHS on 1/10 being a free drop as they were under 2 club length though.
We got the hard pin positions as it was their club champs match play. Very easy to putt balls off the green on a couple holes namely 1st/10th and the short par 3 4th/13th.

Thanks for the hit, enjoyed the day. The Schnit was good.
Town was Red & Yellow when I arrived and was Blue when I left

It was a great shot. Left handed with the club arse about and a shed wall about a foot away.

HP to confirm the next outing. More than likely TTG.

You left out lofted over Pine Trees.
The collectives last words when he walked up to it was "pity your no left handed :)"
Many years ago when I played and practiced a lot I used to hit a few of these to practice the shot. 8 iron flipped over and hit it with the toe part of the club and don't try to over hit it.

The feelers have gone out to TTGGC but the guy I was hoping to speak to is away until 16 June. Just putting this down to remind myself to try again after that time if he doesn't contact me first.

Just wondering if I should look to book a Sunday in June or July noting the Loxton open is on late July?

Comments welcome.

I'm very keen for a game at TTG, hope the weather holds out.
July would work better for me but up to everyone else too.
