He obviously has trouble with the concept of the thread but there’s no need to call him names.

First round of the Cairns Open today (36 hole stroke).

Hmm. Firstly I haven’t started a round with Jaegermeisters in a Long time.

Shook my head on the 1st tee mostly because I couldn’t see the ball, pounded drive right up the middle to ~115m out, half flipped a shank to the right edge for a double.

Overall had 5 Jaegers, 7 Heineken, 1 Bundy to finish 15/18-33 points.

Back 9 was sporadic and consisted of 2x4pointers including a 4 footer on the last for PBW that won the $$$$.

34 points Saturday, 3 birdies, 2 wipes, 12th overall.
35 points yesterday, 1 birdie, 1 wipe, 6th overall.

After slumping to 6.8 at Vic Champs, back down to 6.3 and feeling like I am playing slightly better. Gone back to my Ping driver rather than the F6+ with XS shaft I have been using.

The cooler weather has slowed the course down and its playing long. 38 points will probably win your grade.

Yikes. That's woeful. I've played in Wednesday comps in that time....

Back to earth yesterday in the monthly medal. Shot 77 for 74. Very windy however and just couldnt make a putt.

The internet has been down at our club since last week's storms and my last 3 rounds haven't gone into golflink. I'm onto the captain to make sure it happens however as 2 of those rounds were a 72 and a 70.

Men.... yesterday was not meant to play golf... lack of sleep and feeling like crap.

Could not score, can hit all my shots well but my alignment was completely off. Putting was terrible, with my distance controll being good but anything around the 3 feet circle i kept pushing my putts. 3 putted too many holes to count.
Only played 23 points for the day. Pretty disappointed...

I've just returned from an overseas trip encompassing Germany, Norway, Scotland, Iceland, Italy and a smidge of Switzerland. While in Scotland I played one round at the highly-rated Royal Dornoch. I can't report on a final number as I gave up keeping score only a few holes in due to poor visibility from heavy fog which resulted in tons of lost balls (I reckon our foursome would have gone through around 20 for the front nine). On the back nine the fog lifted enough to at least see where the ball went so I started scoring again and made 38 (+3) with one birdie on the 15th. Some pics below:
