Well it is Quarter Final time.

This could be one of the best matches you are even likley to see, that is if we both turn up on the day. :-D

Hopefully all things being equal the match will be held at Redland Bay on the 30 July.

Bad news for Shazza is that I have slid my handicap out to 3 just for this match :smt002 and she will only be getting 15 holes start.

Looking forward to your insightfull comments on how this match is likley to pan out over the coming weeks.

Go Shazza! 8) Stoney, if Shazza has her sledging up to her usual standards, you are in trouble.

Reddy bay is good for me.

Jarro - Have you ever seen me in a plunging neckline? Have you not remembered that i am not very girly.... :smt061 ;)

no worries.....

and since when do i sledge???? I only sledge pete.... no wonder he always plays better when he doesn't paly in the same group as me. :)

I thought i was very well behaved when i played against Gazgolf.

Jarro
17th July 2006, 02:52 PM
that's not what Gaz said.

He said you kept farting during his backswing

shazza_rs
17th July 2006, 02:52 PM
damn that bacon and eggs i had for brekky ;)

and thats hardly sledging.... more a flatulence problem....

peter_rs
17th July 2006, 04:25 PM
A big problem......

All I can say is good luck stoney... shazza killed me on the weekend 7&5. I turned with par, par, bogie, par, to still lose. a 85 of the stick (12 Fairways & 8 GIR) at noosa spring (a new course). It could have been worse she missed 5 other birdie putts in the front nine. The 6 under would have taken a good chop out of her hcp if we played in the comp (like I wanted).

If your iron game is on this would be great game to watch. I hope I can make it.

Good luck to both. and remeber its only a game shazza :) don't throw clubs.

Go Shazza! 8) Stoney, if Shazza has her sledging up to her usual standards, you are in trouble.

Jono, You have obviously never played golf with me. I don't sledge anywhere near like i used to (don't quite have the game to back it up) but I am sure I can step it up for this event.

And if it is farting you are looking for .......... Well look out. I might bring my son with me as well, talk about a trumpet.

This is going to be a cracker, pardon the pun.

Should be fun. Don't behave too much, that would be no fun at all.

Can't beleive that you are going to wait until the second hole. I usually start in the carpark, just ask Dion.

Its never too late to become 'girly'. Something like this should do nicely:

Now that we have determined what Stoney is wearing, we need to pick out an outfit for Shaz.

Shazza, As discussed previously, things at home have not improved so I am out for this weekend.

Stoney don't beat her too bad as I have to take her home....

It will be good to have another round with you if you drop back to play with me and shazza. I promise to behave-

After last weeks round, I think sahzza might get more support from stoney than you pete - on the golf course that is.

Stoney

Should be an interesting match. 14 shots Shazz, do you think you could loose a couple before then?

Looking forward to returning to the site of many previous embarrasing matchplay defeats, Nigel Weldon kicked my but on that course countless times in the mid 90's.

shame that shazza and stoney couldn't have had a match at Middle Ridge. It's a track they're both familiar with. Still, City will be interesting....

Guys, I'll let you know some of my availability for the next match, so we can forward plan a little bit, as this one is behind. On Sunday (24th), I'll most likely be playing at Keperra with the Hackers social group, so we can play the semi there. The following weekend, I won't play golf due to the AFL Grand Final.

At this stage, all of my weekends are free in October leading up to the Champs on the 28th/29th.

Should be a nice social match, you will both be off the Red markers won't you?

Actually if you play of the Yellows you could actually tee off in front of her at times.

I managed to win this one 4 and 2.

Shazza had a tuff day with the putter

Match played in good spirit, plenty of quality sledging, mostly by Shazza.

Congrats stoney....

I was never in with a chance even after you flubbed your bunker shot on the first hole to give me a win..... think you were just giving me a false sense of security. :)

Had a great day despite being beaten.

Good luck in your next match stoney..... i hope you kick AP's butt.
