used my ol man's J33 (420) with aldila nv 65r this past 3 days as I was out of drivers to use...didn't feel like breaking out the newbies yet...

driver sounds funny, but boy is it LONG!!!
I must be getting old - would have thought the r flex would do me in, but it worked nicely...
good all-round driver - would love to have a crack at a 460 one of this days...

He cleans it during his pause at the top of the backswing.

None of us should be firing barbs at Jarro's swing, we all have little thing in our swing or PRE-SHOT ROUTINE that others can have a go at us if they won't :-s

Terry.

** price Drop**

AndyP
7th August 2006, 02:40 PM
What's with the minimalist approach on the signature?

Back on topic.......I can't believe this baby is still for sale and at that price. If I didn't already have three of them, I'd be sorely tempted to pickup this sweet club.

Fishman Dan
7th August 2006, 03:07 PM
Jarro - what price for the head alone?

dc68
7th August 2006, 03:15 PM
If it was 8.5 or 9.5 great but 10.5 would be moon ball territory for me. WHY when a good deal comes up is the club alway unsuitable to me. BAH

Jarro
7th August 2006, 03:18 PM
Fishy - i'll let the head go for $140

dc68 - mate, it'a a low launching head, lower than my 9.5* TM driver.

McMw
7th August 2006, 03:38 PM
it'a a low launching head, lower than my 9.5* TM driver.

yup...it is low launch...regular NV65, with 9.5, and it flies low...

I treasure the game of golf. If it means changing a driver every now and then, so be it. ;)

This better be worth-bloody-while, because the old fave 300 Ti (with SK Fiber) is going gangbusters.

Besides, I stand for peace, chicken burgers, and boobies for all.

Did i mention i had a sexual experience with a Rescue Dual tonight? ;)

If only i know i had to spend money (on clubs that i probably don't need) to gain respect  :p

BrisVegas
9th August 2006, 09:57 AM
so, two of the loudest anti-ho's on the forum have both bought new drivers in the past week, plus 69er has put a hybrid in play and got new irons this year and fishy is demoing a Rescue dual... Where will it end???

What anti-ho's are there left? blakey?

PeteyD
9th August 2006, 10:05 AM
It appears that hoing is catching! If Blakey buys anything new we know something is wrong.

Fishman Dan
9th August 2006, 10:05 AM
Group? Pffffft. You make out that people who don't change clubs as regularly as underwear are terrorists. Being an non-HO is more of a movement.

Speaking of which, with the impending new club.... THERE'S MOVEMENT BABY! :smt112

Wrong again, adding to the stock pile does :-s
Does that mean a ho, as in slut, stockpiles men?
Or constantly changes men?
I think the latter.

terryand
9th August 2006, 01:52 PM
You have a point to a degree.

But have a look at Jono's and A-Lo's "inventory"

Rest my case ;)
