Hi guys, i havent been on here in a while but i hear the vic champs were another sucess so well done!
Anyways, ive just bought a set of ben hogan medallions in bad condition but rrally would love to restore the heads and shaft them to suit me.
Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who can refinish some of, in my opinion, the purest buttery blades ever made.
Cheers!

Plenty of options out there. In Aus Wanlefty does refinishing, generally black oxide but he might have other options. Foburger is associated with Lajosi, from memory I think he does plated and non plated finishes in line with Lajosi's offereing. I'll defer to either of those lads though.

If you want to have the fully rechromed, there are a few options in the states:

https://www.theironfactory.com/

https://www.tourspecgolf.com/tsg-club-works.html

https://www.golfworks.com/golf-club-services-and-repairs/a/194/

None particularly cheap. All get decent reviews though.

Hi Foburger, I've been searching the internet for a way to get some Ping G425 irons refinished. That's led me to join ozgolf which I hadn't seen before but I can't PM you .. presumably until I'm approved or something. I've got 9 irons with some marks on the heads from what looks like club rattle etc (are they black underneath the outer coating or something?). Are these clubs refinish-able? They are some kind of matte colour so presumably can't be polished

Thanks, Andy
