Hey Guys,

Any recommendations on Golf Shoes? Don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money - no more than say $150-$200. Probably leaning towards Nike as a brand as their runners are normally pretty comfortable for me sizing wise. Have some Puma's but they are a bit tight even after a few uses.

Any recommended picks?

Thanks
Antonio

Nike shoes might be a little over your budget. If I was considering Nike, I would pick either Nike Lunar Control or Command

Both are great options and come in a range of colours. The only downside I've heard about Nike shoes is that they are a little be "squeaky"

What kind of playing conditions will you be playing in? If dry, you could get away with spikeless. If wet or damp, I'd lean more towards a spiked shoe.

In saying all that, there are tonnes of different options out there. I'd just go into a shop and try everything on in YOUR price range.

Then buy them online for half the price

The Sketchers walking shoes I have is nice and comfy but find the golf shoes are too narrow for me. Same for the Ecco.

I have wide feet... FJ freestyle and Callaway seems to fit me fine

If you go on nike au website and search "golf" they have some pairs on there. The range seems to change often. They offer free returns and even if you wore them and didn't like them within 30 days. Cant go wrong!

Nike golf shoes can be cheap - just need to do your research and purchase online of course (www.sportsdirect.com (http://www.sportsdirect.com)). I am waiting on a pair from the uk at the moment; cost me $52.80 for a pair of Nike Air Zoom Golf Sn84 White

Niblick golf shoes IMO are very good for the price - here is where I recommend you buy a pair: https://www.golfclearanceoutlet.com.au/golf-shoes/mens-shoes.html

If the budget permits - purchase a pair of the Asics FG Tour shoes from the above link - they are an exceptional golf shoe and will last a long time

Once you get an idea of your size per brand you would rarely purchase a pair of shoes in a retail store - highway robbery

Check out the Nike Zoom 90 IT's (AirMax 90 style)... Hell comfy and can be had on the bay in your price range.

+1 for FJ COntours I've had a trusty pair for 7 years

Also have 2 pairs of spikeless Nike Lunar Mont Royals and they are epic

Big fan of the FJ freestyles

As 3pp said, get your size and jump online.

( BEWARE..FJ sizes do vary through the styles though)
